HANSON PREPARES RP 2 TRILLION RESIDENTIAL PROJECT

PT Hanson International Tbk. set up an investment of around Rp 2 trillion to expand Serpong Kencana residential project in 2017. The Company intends to build 9,000 units housing for the middle and lower segments.

Benny Tjorosaputro, President Director of Hanson, said the company plans to add up to 100 hectares of land reserves of which are currently being worked on 40 hectares.

The estimated completion of land developed in the next three to four years. "This year we freed the land, we launch again next year. Total unit could double from current levels," he explained.

Benny explains prepared Rp 500 billion for land acquisition while the Rp 1.5 trillion allocated for residential development and public infrastructure.

He stressed that investment will be launched gradually.

Based on the financial statements of Hanson, in the past year have contributed Serpong Kencana project presales revenue of Rp 130 billion.

On the other hand, this year Hanson International eyeing presales revenue of Rp 1.8 trillion. Until June 30, 2016, the company has exceeded the pre-sale, which stood at Rp 1 trillion.

Benny said that the company will still rely on the sale of two projects in Maja and Serpong. "Our target of Rp 1.8 trillion to Rp 2 trillion, hopefully achieved," he explained.

Maja Citra Raya project is a joint operation between its subsidiary Hanson, namely PT Mandiri Mega Jaya, PT Ciputra Residence, a subsidiary of PT Ciputra Development Tbk. Citra Maja Raya has concession area of 2,000 hectares.

Citra Maja Raya project, throughout 2015 Hanson and Ciputra has accumulated presales amounting to Rp 1.5 trillion.
