TMAS BUY ONE CONTAINER SHIP

PT Pelayaran Tempuran Emas Tbk (TMAS) signed a contract to purchase one unit of the container ship. The handover of the ship will be made in the fourth quarter 2016.

Company Secretary  of TMAS Marthalia Vigita said the ship reached the capacity of 2,702 TEUs. To get it, TMAS spend up to US$ 6.5 million.

Marthalia explained that the contract to purchase the ship is done to continue the fleet upgrade program belongs TMAS and increase business capacity. "The budget for the purchase of ships coming from the company's funds for capital investments or capital expenditure which amounts to Rp 550 billion," she said.

As for this year, TMAS plans to purchase seven ships.
