THE CERTAINTY FUND PROJECT 10 THOUSAND MW OBTAINED THIS YEAR

PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) targets until the end of the power plant with a total capacity of 10,000 megawatts (MW), which is part of the 35,000 MW project has received funding certainty.

PLN President Director Sofyan Basir said it encouraged several large-scale power plants in order to financial close totaling 10,000 MW can be done by the end of this year.

"Funding should be made this year to make the power plant operational in 2019. In December, a minimum of 10,000 MW (financial closing) must have been completed," he said.

A number of power plant projects targeted to complete the payment in this year, with steam power plant of Cirebon expansion capacity of 1,000 MW are located in the village of Kanci, Cirebon, West Java.

The power project will be built by IPPs (Independent Power Producer) namely PT Cirebon Energi Prasarana which has a consortium of Marubeni Corporation, PT Indika Energy Tbk, Samtan Co Ltd, Korea Midland Power Co. Ltd. and Chubu Electric Power Co. Inc. and Black & Veatch.

Director of Cirebon Energi Prasarana Heru Dewanto said that the completion of the financing may be made no later than October after assurances from the government and the transmission of land acquisition completed. Moreover, Steam Power Plant of Tanjung Jati B Unit 5 and 6 capacity 2x1.000 MW also scheduled to undergo completion of payments this year.

Other power plant project which will also be faster completion of the funding is Java Steam power plant with a capacity of 7 MW 2x1.000 in Serang, Banten.

According to the schedule for completion of the funding is done in December 2016 but could be developed into in October 2016.
