PERTAMINA INSTALL 1,000 CNG CONVERTER

PT Pertamina (Persero) will distribute 1,000 units converter for a vehicle that will use compressed natural gas (CNG). This converter is planned to be distributed in Jakarta, Bogor, Bekasi, and Balikpapan.

Distribution of this converter in accordance with the assignment of the government through the Ministerial Decree No. 213 Year 2016. Pertamina is targeting 1,000 units converter kit can be distributed, with the composition of the 500 units to government service vehicles and 500 units for public transport. The city that is allocated CNG converter this year are Jakarta 600 units, Bogor 100 units, Bekasi 150 units and Balikpapan 150 units.

Installation of CNG converter in Balikpapan is an advanced program of construction of three gas Fuel Gas Filling Stations and 1 Fuel Gas Filling Stations mother station in Road of Ahmad Yani with a capacity of 1 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD), as well as 2 Fuel Gas Filling Stations daughter station in Road of Pattimura and Roads of Iswahyudi with a capacity of 0.5 MMSCFD respectively. The absorbed budget for the construction of three Fuel Gas Filling Stations is Rp 103.5 billion.

Third Fuel Gas Filling Stations in Balikpapan, including 56 Fuel Gas Filling Stations government assignment were built in Jakarta and 21 cities/regencies. From the 56 Fuel Gas Filling Stations, 14 Fuel Gas Filling Stations has been in operation, 40 Fuel Gas Filling Stations has been built and will soon be operational, as well as 2 Fuel Gas Filling Stations are under construction.
