Investors from China is ready to build textile plant and textile
products, with investment value of US$ 100 million. Until the second quarter of
2016, foreign investment reached US$ 8.01 billion, an increase of 49.11 percent
from the same period in 2015.
Minister of Industry Airlangga Hartanto said the commitment comes from
companies from China, Jiangsu Dongqun Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd. after
the visit of President Jokowi to China. The company is ready to invest US$ 100
million to build textile plant and textile products.
The minister said the plan is already quite mature after a special
meeting with the with the management of the Chinese company. The government
also offers several location options of investment to the investor.
