CIMAHI RP 12 BILLION FOR BARANANG PROGRAM

Cimahi Department of Cleanliness and Gardening budgeted Rp 12 billion for Baranang program, the installation of public street lighting around settlements. A total of 3,308 lamp Street Light will be installed in the streets alley.

Head of Gardening Street Light and Cemeteries of Cimahi Department of Cleanliness and Gardening Endang said, actually Department of Cleanliness and Gardening targeting 9,000 point of installed Street Light in the aisles in Cimahi. However, the budget is very limited.

"The realization of this year 3,308 points. The remaining 6,000 point Street Light in the alley, will be done gradually. The target, in 2018 has been completed," said Endang.

According to him, a budget of around Rp 12 billion which was prepared Department of Cleanliness and Gardening this year, not only for the Street Light in the alleys, but the road environment such as in housing projects. "The budget of Rp 12 billion for the Street Light in alley and non-alley," she said.

Endang explained Baranang program is a program that lighting installation touching into a densely populated residential area. The plan, in each RT/RW in Cimahi will be installation the Street Light.

Street Light Installation in alleys residential areas is one step Cimahi city government to minimize criminal actions that often occur in the community. "We want to improve lighting coverage as a form of suggestions from the community. This program is intended to enhance the safety and convenience of the public," he said.
