PROCUREMENT OF BALIKPAPAN REFINERY SOON BE AUCTIONED

PT Pertamina (Persero) will soon conduct the procurement process of Long Lead Item (LLI) for Refinery Development Master Plan (RDMP) RU V Balikpapan Project.

Pertamina processing director Rachmat Hardadi said Pertamina continues to move quickly to realize RDMP RU V Balikpapan. Currently, Pertamina is completing a list of goods categorized LLI or goods with the manufacturing process and long delivery will soon be tendered.

"Our estimates, around USD 1 billion worth of goods categorized LLI will be conducted by Pertamina procurement process. Procurement by Pertamina is once again a concrete phase of our project acceleration," he said.

The procurement process will begin in October 2016 and will be completed in quarter 1/2017. This procurement in a separate process with a package of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC).
