CHANDRA ASRI EXPANSION PLANT RP 4 TRILLION

PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (CAP), the nation's largest petrochemical company, signed a cooperation agreement with Univation Technologies, LLC, located in United States, to build factories polyethylene (PE) has a capacity of 400 thousand tons per year. The plant location is in Naphtha Cracker complex integrated CAP, Cilegon, Banten.

Management of CAP does not mention the investment value of the project. However, from the testimony of Deputy Chairman of Industrial Olefin, Aromatic and Plastic Indonesia (Inaplas) Budi Sadiman; the investment value of construction of the plant is expected to cost around Rp 4 trillion.

"The investment is not too large, because of major infrastructure, such as ports and offices are already available," said Budi.
