WASKITA BETON PRECAST EXPANSION RP 4 TRILLION

PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk preparing an investment of Rp 4 trillion over the period 2016-2018. These funds are allocated to finance the construction of eight precast plant and 40 batching plant. With this step, in 2018 the company's total plant to 13 units, and batching plant as many as 65 units.

Director of Waskita Beton Precast Jarot Subana said that, until now, the company has eight precast plant. Of that amount, a total of two plants is the result of the acquisition of the company in early 2016. In the second half of 2016, the company will add two new plants, bringing the total company's plant at the end of this year to 10 units.

"Two new plant later in Palembang and Central Java. Then, in 2017, the company will build again around Kalimantan or Sulawesi. In Kalimantan, we've got a land of 10 hectares (ha)," he said.

Jarot explained, the company is also reviewing plant builders in North Sumatra. It would consider which areas are the most promising next year. While in 2018, the company will build a new plant. Region explored is the eastern part of Indonesia or Java.
