ULU BELU UNIT 3 START OPERATION IN AUGUST

PT Pertamina said that the Ulu Belu geothermal power plant project unit 3 with a capacity of 1x55 MW in Lampung Province is on track to start commercial operation in August of this year.

Pertamina VP for Corporate Communication Wianda Pusponegoro told the media that construction progress of the project has reached about 94 percent.

"The EPC progress is on the track and we are confident that the project will be on stream in accordance with our target in August 2016," Wianda said.

Meanwhile, the commercial operation date (COD) for the Ulu Belu unit 4 with a capacity of 1x55 MW is expected in June 2017. Currently, the installed capacity of the Ulu Belu power plant is 110 MW consisting of Unit 1 and Unit 2.
