Currently, four consortium will compete strongly to win the tender
bidding process of Java 1 steam power plant.
The winning bidder is expected to build a power plant with a capacity of
2x800 megawatts (MW). Four consortium consisting of state-owned enterprises,
private enterprises and foreign.
First, a consortium of PT Adaro Indonesia Tbk with a Singapore-based company
Sembcorp.
Second, a consortium of PT Medco Power Generation Indonesia together
with companies from Qatar, Nebras Power.
Third, the consortium subsidiary of PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN)
ie Pembangkit Jawa Bali (PJB), which took Mitsubishi and PT Rukun Raharja Tbk.
Fourth, PT Pertamina (Persero) in cooperation with the Japanese company,
Marubeni Corporation.
The determination of the winning bidder power plant project is an
estimated three to four weeks from now.
