PELINDO III BUILD 11 TERMINAL IN EASTERN INDONESIA

PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III plans to build at least eleven passenger ship terminal, especially in the eastern region of Indonesia  with investment of Rp 350 billion.

Edi Priyanto, Head of Public Relations of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) III, said that the construction of the 11 terminals was done in order to improve public services to accelerate national economic development based maritime.

"The company building a passenger terminal with three classifications according to passenger capacity at the local port that classification passenger terminal with a capacity of 1,500 people, 1,000 people, and 750 people," he said.

The 11 passenger terminal includes Port of Tenau Kupang NTT, Port of Lembar NTB, Port of Sampit Central Kalimantan, Port of Kumai Central Kalimantan, Port of Maumere NTT, Port of Batulicin South Kalimantan, Port of Bima NTB, Port of Waingapu NTT, and Port of Ende NTT.
