PT Angkasa Pura I accompany PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) to map the
railway line that will be used as a mode of transporasi support the
construction of new airport in Temon, Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta.
Chairman of the New Kulon Progo Airport Development Preparation Bambang
Eko said, it was with PT KAI. the last few days, conduct surveys and finalizing
the train line development plan for the airport in Temon.
"The plan, trace railway constructed the double track width of 30
meters with a length of 6 kilometers. So, the land takes about 30
hectares," he said.
Bambang guarantee the railway line to the airport is not displacing the
residence. However, the time of the survey, there is little potential problems
in land acquisition, which is in the village of Kaligintung no land will be
used to build the Nahdlatul Ulama Hospital.
The development of train line target to the airport should be completed
in 2019, or in parallel with the target of the airport operation. "The
construction of the airport is completed, the train line was also completed.
All targeted to operate in 2019," he said.
Previously, PT Angkasa Pura I and PT KAI signed a memorandum of
understanding (MoU) related to the delivery of the train at four airports. The
four airports are Juanda Airport in Surabaya, Sultan Hasanuddin Airport in
Makassar, Adisumarmo Airport in Solo and
Yogyakarta New Airport in Kulonprogro.
