RP 2.2 TRILLION FOR LAND NEEDS OF DAM

The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing propose land acquisition funding requirements for the construction of dams in the State Assets Management Institute  worth Rp 2.2 trillion.

Head of Dam the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing Imam Santoso said that the funds allocation of land acquisition is needed next year are not covered by the bailout fund as much as Rp 16 trillion that were previously submitted to the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing to State Assets Management Institute.

"What this (land dam) out of Rp 16 trillion, yet includes the dam," he said.

He said that this year the funding requirements for land acquisition dam reached Rp 350 billion, and still will be added to the budget of the rest of the auction last year.

Meanwhile, Head of the Central River Region (BBWS) Ministry of Public Work and Public Housing Serayu Opak Tri Bayu Adji targeting Bener dam located in the Bener District, Purworejo, Central Java will start built or groundbreaking at the end of 2017, earlier than the original plan in 2018.

The current design of the dam has been completed, but it made additional testing for geology.
