Bandung City Government started the process of auction of classic street
lighting with a total value estimated more than Rp 22 billion. Development of
Street Light conducted on seven streets in the city center.
The so-called classic Street Light is typical ornate lamppost on the
edge of the road which is currently found in Jalan Asia-Africa, Braga, and some
other segments. This pole by some residents called Street Light
"Maung" because there is a tiger ornaments on the pillars.
The seventh road are Road of Martadinata, Wastukancana, Sudirman,
Merdeka, Asia Africa, Cibadak, and Djuanda. The project in Road of Djuanda, or
better known as Road of Dago, pick the biggest estimated price which is valued
at Rp7.83 billion.
Secretary of the Bandung Department of Bina Marga and Irrigation Agoes S
Sjafoedin confirmed that masts Street Light built ahead of Asia Africa
conference it became a reference of
classic Street Light project. Specifications lampposts refer to these
poles.
