WASKITA BETON BUILD FIVE PLANT

PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk starting today take the floor at the Indonesia Stock Exchange with the trading code WSBP. Through the initial public offering (IPO), a subsidiary of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) was to sell 40 per cent stake (10.54 billion shares) at an offering price of Rp 490 per share. Thus, the company earned Rp 5.16 trillion.

President Director of Waskita Beton Precast, Jarot Subana, says 70 percent of the initial shares taken up by local investors, while the rest is absorbed by foreign investors.

In the development of the company, Waskita Beton plans to add five new plants that began construction in the second half of this year until 2018. As a result, the total number of plant owned by the company will be 13 units.

In the first half of 2016, Waskita has acquired two plants, so the total number of plant increased to eight units. For the second half of this year, Waskita will realize the construction of two new plants in Palembang and Central Java.

In 2017, Waskita will build two plants in Kalimantan and Sumatra. "We've got 10 hectares of land in Kalimantan, then one more plant in North Sumatra, between Medan or Sabang," said Jarot. Then, in 2018, Waskita will add one more plant in eastern Indonesia.

He said the company has get some long-term infrastructure projects, such as Becak Kayu (Bekasi - Cawang - Kampung Melayu), Solo - Kertosono, Batang -Pemalang, Pejagan - Pemalang, Pemalang - Batang, Batang-Semarang, Cimanggis - Cibitung and Probolinggo – Pasuruan toll road projects. In addition, there is also a light rail project in Palembang.

CONSTRUCTION 11 PASSENGER TERMINAL, PELINDO III PREPARE FUNDS RP 350 M

PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III issued an investment fund that is not a little to the construction of eleven passenger terminal. Value reached Rp 350 billion.

Details, six in NTT, two each in NTB and Central Kalimantan, as well as one in South Kalimantan.

Among other things, the Port of Tenau Kupang NTT, Port of Maumere NTT, Port of Waingapu NTT, Port of Ende NTT, Port of Kalabahi NTT, and Port of Ippi NTT.

Later, Port of Lembar NTB, Port of Bima NTB, Port of Sampit Central Kalimantan, and Port of Kumai Central Kalimantan. Plus one more in Port of Batulicin South Kalimantan.

Previously, Pelindo completed the construction in a number of terminal passengers like in Port of Tanjung Perak, Tanjung Emas, Banjarmasin, and Benoa.

He said the investment of Rp 350 billion is used with reference to three classifications in accordance with the capacity of passengers at each port. Namely, a passenger terminal with a capacity of 750 people, 1,000 people, and 1,500 people.

AUTOMATED PEOPLE MOVER SYSTEM COMPLETED IN 2017

PT Angkasa Pura II targets the construction progress of the automated people mover system at Soekarno-Hatta completed in May-June 2017.

Head of Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Angkasa Pura (AP) II Agus Haryadi said the railway without a crew project or so-called automated people mover system (APMS) is still in progress.

"The bidding process has been completed, and is preparation. We also have started technical meeting. Later it will be two jobs, namely the provision of vehicle or wiling stock, and parts of construction," he said.

Agus explained that the provision of an unmanned train at Soekarno-Hatta will be undertaken by PT Len Industri in cooperation with the South Korean company, Woojin with a contract value of Rp 530 billion.

Later, the two companies are using the technology of communication-based train control (CBYC Driverless) with a path length of 2.98 km to serve five terminals at the airport land side.

APMS use any type of automated guided transport (ACT) rail with the type of guided side. The train was eventually going to operate with 3 trainset configuration with two trains each with a capacity of 2,100 passengers per hour per direction (pphpd).

Len Industri focus on doing Driverless CBTC system, telecommunications, and electricity. Len Industri appointed directly by AP II, for being the only option that is able to meet all requirements of the tender.

"While to the construction, we pointed WIKA [PT Wijaya Karya Tbk.] With a contract value of Rp 418 billion. Thus, the total investment value APMS almost Rp 1 trillion," he said.
