PT Pertamina Hulu Energi West Madura Offshore (PHE WMO) will launch the
new platform PHE-24 from the construction locations in Cilegon, Banten in the
next 2-3 days. General Manager of PHE WMO Sri Budiyani said the platform would
travel northwest about six days before the moored at 50 miles offshore
Bangkalan, East Java.
After PHE-24, she added, will be followed by the launch platforms PHE-12
in late September 2016 and the platform deck CPP-2 in mid October 2016.
Sri added, It also has started the installation of subsea pipelines
along the 19.5 km that will deliver oil and gas production from the platform
integrated PHE-12 and PHE-24. All activities were included in the employment
package of EPC-1 initiated since 2015. "EPC-1 project is expected to be
completed in February 2017," she said.
