North Maluku provincial government declared the
development of Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) Babang Port in South
Halmahera, North Maluku will be inaugurated at the end of this year. There are
only two ships owned by PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia (Pelni) who came to
Babang Port. With the expansion of approximately 100 m-200 m, the port that was
to be visited by a large ship.
