PT Pertamina
(Persero), through its subsidiary PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy said the third
quarter 2016 production of electricity from geothermal power plant amounted to
2,233 Giga Watt Hour (GWh), exceeding the target set by the company before
2,216 GWh. Currently PGE is running eight geothermal projects, both steam field
or geothermal power plant. PGE is optimistic to reach the target production of
electricity from geothermal power plants until the end of 2016.
