Klungkung
Government, Bali, proposed the construction of a new bridge connecting the
island of Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan in the Nusa Penida district as a
substitute for a suspension bridge which collapsed. The bridge needed to
facilitate and expedite the activities of local residents, including the
activity of the developing tourism services in the two islands.
