HUTAMA KARYA FOCUS ON PRIORITY SEGMENT OF SUMATRA TOLL ROAD

PT Hutama Karya (Persero) to continue the development of the Trans Sumatra toll road that is focused to build 11 roads with 1,415 km long. Total segment on the Trans Sumatra toll road is 24 segments. Of the total 24 segments planned, the government prioritizes 8 sections ranging from 2014 to 2019, that the process is handed over to PT Hutama Karya (Persero). The 8 priority segment along 645 km, covering a Medan-Binjai, Palembang-Indralaya, Pekanbaru-Dumai and Bakauheni-Terbanggi Besar. There is also a Terbangi Besar-Pematang Panggang, Pematang Panggang-Kayu Agung, Palembang-Tanjung Api-api and Tebing Tinggi-Kisaran. Previously, Hutama get state capital participation  Rp 2 trillion this year to finance the construction of Medan-Binjai, Palembang-Indralaya, Bakauheni-Terbanggi Besar, and Pekanbaru-Dumai toll roads.
