Bank of the
Japanese government, the Japan Bank for International Corporation (JBIC), said was
considering a plan to finance the rehabilitation of the railway line from
Jakarta to Surabaya. Japan is also was designing the rehabilitation of the
railway line from Jakarta to Surabaya in order to be passed at a speed of
180-200 kilometers per hour. The Ministry of Transportation is targeting the
feasibility studies of Jakarta-Surabaya railway line rehabilitation project
could be completed by the end of this year.
