BEGINNING OF THE YEAR, MINISTRY OF PUBLIC WORKS AND PUBLIC HOUSING SIGNATURE CONTRACT RP 24.5 TRILLION

The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing has opened an auction of more than 800 work packages worth Rp 4.5 trillion in the last month. Early auction is conducted in order to accelerate the realization of budget absorption and infrastructure development. Besides signing the contract 7,000 work packages worth Rp 24.5 trillion is targeted to be implemented in January, for the fiscal year 2017. The majority of the project in the form of the Directorate General of Water Resources as many as 681 packages worth Rp 3.1 trillion. Meanwhile, the Directorate General of Bina Marga project about 207 packages worth Rp 1.3 trillion. This year, the Ministry of Public Works budget realization was Rp 57.93 trillion or 58.82 percent of the total budget reached Rp 98.48 trillion.
