ADDITIONAL TOLL ROADS IN NATIONAL STRATEGIC PROJECTS

The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing proposed several Trans Sumatra  toll roads entered into the list National Strategic Project. Of several Trans Sumatra toll roads, there are three roads eligible to be included in an additional attachments national strategic projects in the Presidential Decree No. 3 of 2016 on Accelerating the Implementation of the National Strategic Projects. These three toll roads are the Medan-Banda Aceh, Pekanbaru-Padang, and Tebing Tinggi-Parapat. The investment value for the construction of infrastructure projects such as toll roads varied depending on the location. Special land acquisition, the funds should be spent on Sumatra region reached Rp 5 billion per kilometer (km), while in Java around Rp 20 billion per km, and the Greater Jakarta Rp 150 billion per km.
