TOLL ROAD REGULATORY AGENCY WAITING STUDIES OF CIGATAS ROUTE

Toll Road Regulatory Agency is completing an assessment of the trace or the route of Cileunyi-Garut-Tasikmalaya toll road project before proposing this segment into a National Strategic Project to the Committee for the Acceleration of Priority Infrastructure Provision. The project can not be proposed as a National Strategic Project because it has not completed a series of necessary procedures. In addition, Toll Road Regulatory Agency also in the process of establishment of business entities for this segment, namely UEM Croup Berhad from Malaysia and PT Jasa Marga Tbk. (JSMR). The results of the feasibility study of the proposed West Java provincial government provides three options Cigatas toll road trace. The third trace, namely Majalaya – Nagreg – Limbangan – Cibatu – Malangbong – Rajapolah – Tasikmalaya – Ciamis - Banjar; Majalaya – Nagreg – Limbangan – Cibatu - Garut City –Singaparna – Tasikmalaya City – Ciamis - Banjar; dan Majalaya –Nagreg – Limbangan – Garut – Singaparna - Tasikmalaya City– Ciamis - Banjar. An estimated total budget reached Rp 15 trillion already included land.
