PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGE), a subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero) is considered to have a great chance to win the auction of two geothermal power plants (PLTP) owned by Chevron Geothermal Indonesia Ltd. with a total installed capacity of 632 megawatts (MW). The two geothermal power plants namely Salak Geothermal Power Plant in Bogor regency, West Java and Darajat Geothermal Power Plant in the border district of Bandung and Garut, West Java.
