MRT CARRIAGES WILL ARRIVE IN 2018

Electric train carriages or rolling stock to support the Jakarta mass rapid transit project is scheduled to arrive in Indonesia in 2018. Process of rolling stock in accordance with the procurement package of CP-108, which was won by Sumitomo Corporation. Sumitomo Corporation then pointed Nippon Sharyo, Ltd. to produce a series of 16 electric train, where each series consists of six carriages. The value of the contract for the project was 10.835 billion yen, equivalent to Rp 145.4 billion.
