Chief Operation and Commercial Officer of Saka Energy, Tumbur Parlindungan stated, the discovery of new oil reserves are derived from Pangkah block, East Java. "On Thursday next week we will hold a press conference about this thing," said Tumbur.

Director of Upstream Oil and Gas Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, said that has not received an official report from the Saka Energy. "Is that a new reserve discovery of new structures or the development of existing structures? Because Pangkah block is a block of existing oil and gas production," he said.
