PLN WORKING ON RENEWABLE ENERGY WEST JAVA & BANTEN

Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) seeks to increase the power plant of new and renewable energy. PLN Distribution West Java and PLN Banten, signed power purchase agreements with seven companies developer of micro hydro power plants in West Java and Banten.

General Manager of PLN Distribution West Java Iwan Purwana said that the company seeks to increase the use of renewable energy. According to the schedule, seven developers will sell electricity to PLN West Java and Banten after the project finished in 54 months.

One of the developers of the PT Bangun Bumi Bersatu, Sudjana, representative Bangun Bumi, said it would seek to shorten the processing time in order to more quickly distribute stun to PLN. Until the beginning of 2016 the number of new and renewable energy power plants privat in cooperation with the PLN Distribution West Java as many as 15 power plants with a capacity of 39.3 megawatts. A total of 14 micro hydro power plant units, and one unit of waste power plant.
