In addition to the
reactivation of the rail along the 111 kilometers in Sumatra, the government
will also build a new lane along 1,139 kilometers and the construction of 80
kilometers of double track.
Reactivation do in
Binjai-Besitang, Padang Panjang - Bukit Tinggi - Payakumbuh, Variaman - Naras -
Sungai Limau, and Muaro Kalaban - Muaro. From Besitang, later built the

Construction of the rail

and illegally rented.
Construction of
Palembang-Jambi new lines rail along the 200 kilometers will run for two years.
In 2016 the planning was completed, and in 2017 started the construction phase.
In 2018 project will be completed and can be used as the carriage of goods and
passengers. As for the construction of the railway along the Palembang-Lampung
continue to be settled.
This year, the
construction of additional in Kertapati - Prabumulih segment along 50
kilometers will be completed.
While Martapura - Baturaja
segment along 30 kilometers started on 2016. The completion of Palembang -
Lampung double track along the 50 kilometers will be the focus of the work
during 2016. Hopefully, in October 2016, a double truck lanes are already
finished and can be used.
