The government will
prioritize ten strategic projects in the oil and gas sector to be discussed so
that it can be completed within the next two weeks.
Executing tasks Minister
of Energy and Mineral Resources Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan said, has discussed the
ten strategic issues in the oil and gas sector with the Secretary General of
the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Teguh Pamudji and the Director
General of Oil and Gas I.G.N Wiratmadja Puja to be completed within two weeks.
The ten strategic project
consists of East Natuna Block, the Mahakam block, Indonesian Deepwater
Development / IDD, Jangkrik Field.
Another project is the
priority gas pipeline of West Natuna Transportation System (Wnts) to Pemping
Island, New refinery, mini refinery, and incentives for oil and gas projects in
the deep sea.
Luhut ensure these ten
projects will run well. "Actually, there are 32 things, but the priority
of the ten items it used to be. We accelerate in the next 2 weeks. It was a
project that was delayed will be racing," said Luhut.
He specifies, for Jangkrik
Field project will be discussed with PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) for
gas used as raw materials of power plants.
To transition management
of the Mahakam block, he said, PT Pertamina (Persero) and Total E&P
Indonesia will discuss further in the near future.
