East Kalimantan provincial government continues to push
ahead the construction of the New Samarinda Airport has been named Aji Pangeran
Tumenggung Pranoto Samarinda Airport. Soft opening of the airport will be held
on January 9, 2017. Currently the construction progress of the New Samarinda
Airport (BSB) has reached 70.7%. East Kalimantan provincial government budgeted
cost of Rp 1.5 billion for the construction of the airport.
