The Ministry of Transportation and Jakarta Provincial
Government will accelerate the completion of s Manggarai-Cikarang double-double
track (DDT) railway project. This is done so there is no delay in the arrival
of the train. The total budget for the Manggarai-Cikarang DDT is around Rp 5
trillion, and is divided to three packs. Package A from Manggarai to
Jatinegara, packages B1 of Jatinegara to Bekasi and packages B21 from Bekasi to
Cikarang. PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) targeting the project was completed
in 2019.
