MEGAPROJECT INFRASTRUCTURE 5 YEARS AHEAD

Lately it has been estimated to be a surge in infrastructure development is significant in indication 5 years under President Jokowi-JK (2015 to 2019).

Some Ministry will increase the budget significantly compared with 5 years earlier. For example, in the next 5 years (2015-2019) budget allocation for infrastructure. The Ministry of Public Works has increased approximately 44% over the previous 5 years. While the Ministry of Transportation has increased the budget of about 65%.

APEXINDO'LL DRILLING PROGRAM

When Total EP no longer be the operator of the Mahakam block, next year, then company PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk it only has plans to drill 19 wells in Mahakam block, now controlled by Pertamina.

When Total EP becomes operator, Apexindo can drill up to 100 wells. Now, only the remaining six wells. Already then, the drilling process is not necessarily delivered to done by APEX.

Frieda Salvantina, Apexindo corporate secretary, said that, despite the potential losses due to the reduction of the well, Apexindo had mitigate and deal with following the drilling tenders other than in the Mahakam block.

"At this time, the company is trying to match all tenders spesiflkasi rigs the company," he said. Additionally, Apexindo maximize the utilization of rigs.

He said the oil and gas industry is still not conducive, so companies need to do a proper strategy. Moreover, many oil and gas contractors reduce their activities and indirect impact to the company's derivatives in the oil and gas sector. "We are trying to maintain performance and ensure the existing contract goes well," adds Frieda. Currently, Apexindo has two running contracts with Pertamina Geothermal Energy and Santos Ltd.
